About this Surf Camp

Sunshine Surf Morocco was born from the ocean. Reda, a local Moroccan surfer who has spent his life in and around the waves, built the camp to share the coastline he knows best. After years of traveling and chasing swells, he returned to Tamraght to create a surf house where everything is simple: surf the right spot at the right time, eat well, and end the day with tea and pastries on the rooftop as the sun drops over Taghazout Bay.

The house itself is welcoming and easygoing, with private rooms, family options, and a female dorm, all equipped with Wi-Fi, AC, towels, and daily cleaning. Meals are included, from big Moroccan breakfasts to packed beach lunches and three-course dinners, with the kind of afternoon mint tea that hits the spot after long sessions. The coaching is especially suited for beginners and intermediates, whether you’re catching your first white waves or looking to progress on green waves, the surf packages are designed to help you improve with confidence. The team takes care of the logistics, so your focus stays where it should be : in the water.

The whole experience was filled with positive energy, amazing food, and a real sense of community.

My partner and I had a wonderful one-week stay at Sunshine Surf. The whole experience was filled with positive energy, amazing food, and a real sense of community. Ali, the chef, prepared incredible meals for us, especially the chicken couscous and turkey tagine, which were among the best dishes we have had in Morocco and during our travels. The surf instructors were also patient, supportive, and encouraging for all levels. A special thank you to Mohamed, Apache, and Ibrahim for their help and guidance throughout the week. I would definitely recommend this amazing getaway.
