About this Surf Camp

Purple House Surf Camp Aghroud sits in a quiet seaside village just 5 minutes north of Taghazout and on the scenic road that leads to Imsouane. It’s a small, local-run surf house surrounded by long beaches and mountains, perfect for anyone who wants to surf without the crowds. Hicham, the owner, grew up here and knows every tide and sandbank in the area — from the mellow peaks of Aghroud to the more powerful waves of Boilers and Tamri.

The location couldn’t be more practical. You’re close enough to Taghazout’s cafés and surf shops for a night out or a post-surf coffee, but just far enough to enjoy a slower rhythm and empty lineups. Agadir Airport is about 45 minutes away, making this one of the easiest surf getaways on Morocco’s Atlantic coast.

The house is bright and simple, built for easy mornings and calm evenings. A wonderful stay at the Purple House

I had a wonderful stay at the Purple House during my trip to Morocco. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and full of charm, with a beautiful sea view.
