Surf Camp Lanzarote – Calima Famara

Calima runs three guesthouses in Famara, all inside the Famara natural reserve and within a minute’s walk of each other — close to the surf school, restaurants, bars, and local shops. Rooms are equivalent across the three properties, same beds, same layout. The photos on this page show Oceanic House, the most recently renovated, just 90 metres from Famara Beach. If your assigned house is full when you arrive, you’ll get a similar room at one of the other two. Shared spaces are comfortable and well kept, with regular cleaning and easy parking nearby.

All surf lessons take place directly on Famara’s long sandy beach, known for its safe conditions, space, and consistent waves. Surfers are grouped by level on the beach, with a maximum 1 instructor for 8 students, ensuring personal feedback and steady progression.

Calima surf camps are available for 3 to 7 nights.
The number of surf lessons depends on the length of stay:

3 nights → 2 lessons
4 nights → 3 lessons
5 nights → 4 lessons
6 nights → 4 lessons
7 nights → 5 lessons

This lesson structure applies to all Calima surf camp packages.

Healthy Surf Camp (2h/day)
Focused daily coaching with 2-hour surf lessons per surf day.

Intensive Surf Camp (4h/day)
Extended water time with 4 hours of surf per surf day, including supervised practice.

Total Experience Surf Camp
2h coached surf per day + free surfing, with equipment available from day one.
