About this Surf Camp

SURFinn Lisbon sits a few quiet streets behind the Costa da Caparica boulevard — close enough to hear the ocean, far enough for a good night’s sleep. Run by the SurfBlend team from the Netherlands, this surf-style B&B brings together the best of both worlds: an endless stretch of sandy beach on your doorstep, and Lisbon’s historic center just 20 minutes away by ferry or taxi. No rental car needed.

The house is built around its garden and pool area, with a rooftop bar where most evenings end up. Inside, there’s a spacious living room with a fireplace, WiFi throughout, and dedicated surf gear storage with outdoor showers. Mornings start with an extensive breakfast buffet — fresh bread, spreads, muesli, fruit, and unlimited coffee. Three evenings a week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday), the kitchen serves a deluxe dinner with a drink included (€17.50 per person).

The beach at Costa da Caparica is famous for its breakwaters, which create different wave zones suited to every level — from first-timers to experienced surfers. Surf lessons run in small groups (max 6–8 people) with qualified instructors, and you can book a 3-session booster (€139) or a 5-session full course (€199). Gear rental is available daily at €15 per person, or book the Free Surf package and it’s included in your room rate.

Beyond the waves, Costa da Caparica has its own character — cozy bars and local restaurants along the boulevard, a town center with authentic Portuguese eateries, and upscale beach clubs at the far end. Take the ferry to Cacilhas for €1.50, explore Belém and its famous pastéis de nata, or head up to Sintra for the day. It’s a surf holiday with a city trip built in.

Minimum stay: 4 nights. In high season (July–August), check-in is Saturday to Saturday with a 7-night minimum. A short stay fee of €40 per booking applies for stays under 5 nights.
