In Da Surf Bali

The format is simple: daily semi-private surf lessons with a maximum of two guests per coach. Your instructor picks the spot based on conditions and your level, handles the theory, and gets you in the water for up to two hours. After each session, you get a video review back at the camp. Filming runs every other day on a handycam — quality is set for analysis and learning, not cinema.

The property is a modern villa with a pool, garden, BBQ area, and sunbeds. Mornings start with breakfast before the surf run. After sessions, the pool and common areas are where everyone ends up. Canggu’s cafes, restaurants, and bars are all within walking or scooter distance. Scooters can be rented locally to get around.

The coaching team includes six certified instructors and a dedicated cameraman. Batu Bolong is the main training ground for beginners — consistent, forgiving waves close to shore. Echo Beach picks up more swell and works well for intermediate surfers looking to progress.
